Waiting for spring. Waiting for the day to spread your wings
At the end of the day, tired, after a glass of wine. I didn't want to go to bed without making art, not when I've challenged myself to make art every day.
I am a very lucky mermaid girl. That is not something I ever take for granted, and it is something for which I offer thanks to the Universe every day.
My beloved husband, myself, and our Wonderpup moved to paradise on New Year's Day, 2012. We moved to The Edge of America - Folly Beach. A hippy, quirky, funky, artistic little island. After looking for the place that felt like home, felt like me, for a long time, I knew Folly was home within fifteen minutes of visiting it for the first time. I feel so inspired here, and both Husband and I feel more creative and more ourselves here. I never grow tired of shooting on Folly. Here are just a handful of the many photos I've taken in the past year, photos that make me happy and capture just a bit of the awesome that is home. Someone found a bubble wand and thought it would be fun to see if Brian would eat the bubbles. Brian tried them and was not impressed. Brian the anteater, named by my husband, Brian. He said there is no relation.
